Well we are another game into our season with less than 3 months remaining before the Spring/Summer Hiatus. So gather the gang and let's have some fun, shall we?
Last week we had 15 teams begin the game. Sadly, newbies Team Sandhill would exit the friendly competition during the halftime round, despite being only 12 points back from first place! Perhaps we shall see them this week? At the halftime, The Know Nothings once again tempted fate by leading the pack. Just one point back and in a tie for second place were Team Ginny and Spring Ahead, which I'm sure they hoped to do. Speaking of Springing Ahead, this Sunday is when we will follow the 116 year old tradition of advancing our clocks by one hour. So, for your Round 2 Art Bonus, draw a clock or other timepiece.
As teams strolled casually through Round 4, they were met by the challenging Round 5. Lotta RED X's in Round 5, but also, there were 3 teams with a solid stripe of correct answers in that round. Go figure.
By the end of Round 6 teams were poised to either sit pretty or attack aggressively to grab the massive $80 1st Place Prize. Here for the Beer and Six Pack had managed to shove Spring Ahead and The Know Nothings so hard from the top if the hill, they landed in 6th and 7th place, respectively!
Some great "hail Mary's" in there but Hippy Shakes grabbed the gusto and the big prize!
