It was a busy evening at Dogfish Head, and there was a lot of excitement and anticipation.  Perhaps that was because we are less than 5 days away from a holiday weekend in which people are excited to get together with friends and family, or it could be that the weather is rapidly warming, but my guess it is because people were ready to play Let's Do Trivia.  The team with the vaguely German sounding name, Schifferbreinz, dominated the game from beginning to end.  However, many like The Know Nothings, Freshman, and even the Dogfish House team remained in hot pursuit.  However, in a storybook ending as old as the first games in human history, the final bout changed the fortunes of the top to the bottom. Last week's game of  Let’s Do Trivia  seemed to be dominated by the Vaguely-German-Sounding Schifferbreins team, which held the lead for most of the 6 rounds of trivia.  By half-time and into the later rounds the would-be winners seemed secure in their positions.  However, the final question is forever the foil for the best laid plans. In the end, a dark horse known as Sol Mates came out from the middle of the pack to take first place after being one of two teams to answer the final question!  Fox Street Friends, who were kept out of the top five entering into the final round catapulted forward to second place!  Finally, Schifferbreins, who had a comfortable lead throughout, sie wurden von der Konkurrenz überholt to land in third place.  In a stunning turn of events, the first place Sol Mates were nowhere to be found to collect their prize, so if they don't show up to claim it before the end of the next game their fortunes will becom...

The latest round of Let’s Do Trivia kept everyone on edge as the Know Nothings held a narrow lead heading into the final question. After a strong showing throughout the earlier rounds, they managed to stay just ahead of the competition, with several teams close enough to make the outcome uncertain. The energy in the room built as scores were tallied and the final question was revealed, giving trailing teams one last chance to overtake the leaders. In the end, the Know Nothings maintained their advantage and secured the win when the final question proved too difficult for everyone. With no team able to answer it correctly, the standings remained unchanged, locking in their victory. It was a hard-fought game, but consistency throughout the earlier rounds made the difference, earning the Know Nothings a well-deserved first-place finish. Let's Do Trivia kicked off with an energetic first half, and the freshmen quickly set the tone by taking an early lead. They showed strong teamwork and quick thinking, answering questions confidently and building a solid advantage over the competition. Their momentum carried them through the opening rounds, keeping them firmly in first place as the half came to a close. In the second half, the freshmen held onto their lead despite tough competition from the other teams. They stayed focused and consistent, continuing to rack up points and defend their position at the top. By the end of the game, their effort paid off. The freshmen maintained their lead and secured the win, finishing Let's Do Trivia as the champions. Super exciting game at Dogfish on Monday, March 23rd!  Not only did we have some new teams, but one of them were Newlyweds who came specifically to eat, drink, and have fun.  Let's Do Trivia  was the icing on top of their Mini-moon cake! On the whole a great night for most teams.  HerefortheBeer  maintained the top spot through the first half of the game followed closely by newcomers and newly married The Newlyweds , then there was a tight competition for 3rd between Pemberton Bunch , Freshman , and The Know Nothings . Another great night of Let's Do Trivia kept teams on their toes from start to finish. At the halfway mark, Unskilled Labor held the lead, with Know Nothings sitting in second and looking to close the gap. The competition stayed tight through the later rounds, but heading into the final question Unskilled Labor managed to maintain their spot at the top of the leaderboard. When it came time for the final wager, Unskilled Labor took the confident route and bet 20 points, and it paid off. They answered the final question correctly to lock in the victory and finish the night in first place. Because Unskilled Labor is the house team, the prize will roll over to next week, meaning the jackpot will grow to $100 for the next round of Let's Do Trivia.
