Let's Do Trivia - Dogfish Head - 03/23/26

Super exciting game at Dogfish on Monday, March 23rd!  Not only did we have some new teams, but one of them were Newlyweds who came specifically to eat, drink, and have fun.  Let's Do Trivia  was the icing on top of their Mini-moon cake! On the whole a great night for most teams.  HerefortheBeer  maintained the top spot through the first half of the game followed closely by newcomers and newly married The Newlyweds , then there was a tight competition for 3rd between Pemberton Bunch , Freshman , and The Know Nothings . Toward the end, however, things became more contentious and teams that had everything going for them fell from grace as the game ended.  Before the final question,  Freshman ,  The Know Nothings , and Unskilled Labor (the house team), and March Radness had taken the lead.  However, fortunes, like the wind, change all the time, and sometimes fortune favors the fresh, the vaguely international, and the new.  Many teams got the final questions correct, but only a fe...

Let's Do Trivia - Dogfish Head - 3/9/26

Another great night of Let's Do Trivia kept teams on their toes from start to finish. At the halfway mark, Unskilled Labor held the lead, with Know Nothings sitting in second and looking to close the gap. The competition stayed tight through the later rounds, but heading into the final question Unskilled Labor managed to maintain their spot at the top of the leaderboard. When it came time for the final wager, Unskilled Labor took the confident route and bet 20 points, and it paid off. They answered the final question correctly to lock in the victory and finish the night in first place. Because Unskilled Labor is the house team, the prize will roll over to next week, meaning the jackpot will grow to $100 for the next round of Let's Do Trivia. Let's Do Trivia - Dogfish Head - 3/2/26

Let's Do Trivia brought the heat this week as the house team, Unskilled Labor , came out swinging and held first place through the first half of the night. Round after round, they proved why they're the team to beat, stacking up points and keeping the competition on their toes. But heading into the final question, the pressure was sky-high with Unskilled Labor tied neck-and-neck with The Know Nothings , setting up a dramatic showdown to close out the night. When the dust settled after the final round, it was The Know Nothings who clinched the win and claimed the top spot, with Unskilled Labor finishing a close second. However, as the house team, Unskilled Labor doesn't take home the $20 prize, so the pot rolls over to next week, raising the stakes for everyone. That means even more trivia glory (and cash) will be on the line at the next Let's Do Trivia! Let's Do Trivia - Dogfish Head - 2/16/26

At this week's Let's Do Trivia , the competition came out hot right from the first question. The Steamers wasted no time setting the pace, stacking up points round after round and holding a confident lead through the entire first half. Their teamwork was sharp, their guesses were calculated, and by the time teams headed into the break, it was clear they were the ones to catch. Even going into the final question, the Steamers still held the top spot, with Six Pack close behind and ready to make a move. Then came the final question, and the moment that changed everything. With bold wagers locked in, the pressure was on. When the correct answer was revealed, Six Pack had nailed it, earning just enough points to leapfrog the Steamers and claim the win. In a dramatic last-minute turnaround, Six Pack walked away victorious, proving once again that in trivia, it's not just how you start, it's how you finish. Let's Do Trivia - Dogfish Head - 2/9/26

What a rollercoaster night at Let's Do Trivia . Going into the second half, the leaderboard was absolute chaos, in the best way, with a four-way tie for first place. Every team was still alive, every question mattered, and the pressure was on. At the top of the list sat Unskilled Labor , holding their ground and looking poised to take it all as the room buzzed with end-game nerves. But trivia loves a plot twist. When the final answers were locked in and the scores tallied, Princess Peach pulled off the clutch performance of the night, jumping ahead to claim the win. A packed leaderboard, a dramatic finish, and a well-earned victory made this one of those trivia nights people will be talking about long after the last question was read.  For a bonus 3 points in round 2 question 1 draw me a picture of a goose Here is your top 5 5-The Freshman 4-Team Ginny  3-Pork Knuckles  2-Unskilled Labor 1-Princess Peach

Sugar Beet – Play That Funky Bingo – Blurb for 02/03/26

Sugar Beet eased into Wednesday night with the kind of slow‑building buzz you only get when the regulars smell a win in the air. Round One opened with Motown Label , and Tim S snagged the first victory like he’d been warming up backstage with The Temptations. The rest of the room was still shaking off the winter chill, but Tim walked in already on the beat. Round Two rolled into True Colors , where Duane Baker stepped up and claimed the round with the confidence of a man who’s seen a Crayola box or two in his day. The table chatter picked up — that low‑grade hum of “I swear my card was this close” that’s basically the national anthem of Funky Bingo. Round Three’s Say What? category arrived like a linguistic boomerang, and Denise J caught it clean. That round always feels like someone dumped a Scrabble bag into a blender, but Denise sliced through it like she had the Rosetta Stone tucked in her purse. Then came 70s 6 , a round so packed it looked like half the county showed up w...
